it's the fact that he's a DRM dealer that's the problem
there are lots of obnoxious things apple does. my problem with this bulwinkle guy is that the only problem he has with apple is that they don't use the drm/access control/copy protection (whatever you want to call it) that his company sells. of the many problems with apple this is the weakest because you can get music from (nearly) anywhere and put it in your ipod. you don't have to use itunes at all. also, they're starting to switch to drm free on itunes.

actually macrovision is in the DRM business
on the "about us" section of macrovisions website the first line reads: "Macrovision offers content protection, digital rights management, and software licensing solutions." i'm pretty sure that implies they are in the DRM business. and i'm pretty sure bulwinkle and possibly alex are making an astroturfing attempt, though clearly a poor one.
