  • When I try to change the priority, I get the "Unable to Change Priority Acces is denied" window. Since i am the administrator, I don't know how to get around this. Any ideas?

Also, I found the culprit using Process Explorer, turned off one service, and the CPU speed picked right up. this was great help. Thanks a lot. In reply to: "Stop svchost.exe from stealing CPU cycles"
