  • Who is stealing??
Wasn't Apple the first company to use a decent graphical user interface that Microsoft later stole there ideas from. And Apple was the first to use a mouse. Microsoft has been stealing ideas from Apple for years...and by the way, I believe the 97% of people who use a Windows machine are the "drones." If it wasn't for companies like Apple, Microsoft would have no reason to release anything new. Not like they do now (how old is Internet Explorer now?) In reply to: "Seems like I have seen these features now for a couple of years...on my Mac"

  • Slow down a sec...
Molly complains about this, yet Cnet has no fast-forward for the ads they make us watch before every one of their videos... In reply to: "ABC ad exec floats disabling DVR fast-forward buttons"

  • It's called marketing
People will eat this up because they think they need it. Its called marketing. 5 years ago one cell phone was enough, but now its a fashion statement instead of being a utilitarian device. Idiots with enough money (aka a credit card they cant pay off) and the need for the latest thing will make this type of phone a hot seller. In reply to: "Useful as a SECOND phone"

  • if you dont care, great!
If you dont care about Apple, good; the lower the market share the less I have to worry about my Mac becoming a viral magnet like Windows based PCs. Yeah, there has been a couple of recent low-level security threats, but then again, this is the first time in Apple's 20+ year history any security threats had to be seriously addressed. Bottom line, Mac OSX is a superior operating system both for security and user friendliness. In reply to: "Mac OS X is redeemed"
