Not quite how it panned out...
I think you're a little mistaken there... while the guy did sue the automaker's the automaker's continually kept infringing, and using his patent, and thereby taking him to court continuously. The damages awarded were so minimal that in the end the guy that invented hte wipers actually lost money. In reply to: "Apple sued over iPhone keyboard"August 7, 2007
