• Hard to imagine what the designers of the 2010 Insight were thinking when they made the floor of the trunk out of very thin corrugated plastic covered by felt. Pressure from my thumb permanently deformed it. Casually throwing a toaster into the trunk could break one of the floor panels. They are very fragile. In some places they have a piece of foam beneath (also deformable). In other places, there is nothing but void that goes about 8 inches down. I told the Honda dealer that I needed a working trunk because from time to time I have to haul around heavy objects (desktop computer, etc.). He suggested that I buy a rubber trunk bottom to fit the Insight trunk. Unfortunately these are not yet availalbe, so I am going to wait on getting an Insight until they provide a working trunk instead of this cardboard like fantasy. Hard ot imagine how designers could get something simple like this so wrong. In reply to: "2010 Honda Insight short take"
