I was awarded aclaim after aclaim in my professional career and still I was outsourced. In that room of 91 enginneers I was able to network with there was some pretty impressive talent that has all been outsourced....HMMM maybe its time to give Bill and company so serious competion.

Labor laws protect the politicos
Lazy Never!!!...but I do love doing what I trained to do and every member of my family has fought for this country and the standard of living that we enjoy. Even the women especially the women in my family.
I fought even at age five when I stood out in the steel strikes that gave most Americans healthcare and had bricks and rocks and bottles thrown at us because my father didn't want to see his children die early as he had faced the year before when my tonsils had burst from infection and the hospital turned my mother away with a hemorraging child because we had no health insurance. Thats 1956 folks, not that long ago....
Social Justice is not a bad policy. It made this country great until greed was allowed to again raise it ugly head.
When you and I work we ARE able to pay taxes that supports the dear politicos and schools and infrastructures and the way of life that has made us a nation that others dreamed of having.
You don't have to take a jet into a tall building to take down this nation just destroy it financially, destroy it vision, its creativity, it can do attitude.
My grandmom didn't go to jail for the vote for women,my dad didn't fight in two wars and later gave up precious family time to work in union causes and I didn't loose the best guy that God graced the earth with in Nam to roll over....its time to pull together and take our country back from those who would sell us out.

The government lies about the number of out of wk American engineers
These green card programs ARE a turn back to the 1900's with employers holding the whip. I had the dubious pleasure of training my Indian replacement who would work for half to a fourth of what most Americans would work for, he then headed back for India with the whole department being replaced by cheaper labor. That was 51 American tax paying jobs lost. When are our congressmen going to wake up and find that their paychecks stop because we can't pay taxes when India,Korea,China,Mexico have our high paying jobs.....America is becoming a 3rd world country.
I that the government is still espousing that there are too few engineers in this country...that's strange because I sat in a room with 91 engineers in all disiplines and background, all looking for work for more than a year all being told that while our experience was stellar a more qualified candidate was chosen. That candidate most often was foreign. We all came to the same conclusion...There ARE plenty of engineers in America but they are not willing to work for minimum wage. After the unemployment runs out you are no longer counted.....What wrong with this picture?

I couldn't agree more!!!
I am one of those rare who have not bought HP because of the lack of GOOD support and cheapening of the brand and I have been in IT for over 20 years.
Dell needs to pitch Walmart on its ear....it is only going to cause problems for the brand.
On its high end it has been good but I can see it taking the slippery slope and all of it going down to CR_P.
