  • Never going back!!!!
I use both a Mac (PB 15" G4) and an iPod (third one, a 60GB Video)
but I came about it backwards. I fell in love with the Mac 2 yrs ago
and THEN got an iPod, not the other way around. I was wanting an
upgrade from the usual laptops and could find nothing to interest
me until a friend suggested I look at Apple. It suits me to a T with
better graphics, interface, looks; it's fast, sexy, great with video,
music, lectures (now that Keynote is up to speed). In a word, cool.
    Never going back. Ever.

  • Dead in the water
With this "scrap metal" comment, Sony is dead in the water with their strategy. Who gives one good damn about using a Walkman if all they can play is Sony artists? Sony ran blind into a fountain of riches with the Walkman but times have changed. Time to sell off the studios and get back to electronics, not "synergy."

  • Bumped into the elephant in the room...
Since I live in Texas, economy-wise I'd hate for Dell to go under,
as it employs a bunch of my friends and fellow Texans. However,
I will NEVER purchase a Dell again as long as I have air in my
lungs and money (or plastic) in my wallet. I have personally lost
two hard-drives and my brother's laptop motherboard fried up. I
have a PB G4 and iPod Photo with a G5 on deck and I will
continue to ride this "fad" indefinitely, thank you very much.
Keep on making marked-down c**p and then let the market do
    what the market will do...

  • Sweet...
Why clutter it up with a screen? Jobs has it right: You want to set up playlists on the go, use your iPod. This puppy is perfect in minimalist design, clean execution, great for the gym, a quick run, not heavy, the list goes on. What this device is meant for, it does cleanly and clearly. Now, where are the colors? Transparent would be nice...
