  • I suspect it was radio's failure. The commercial consolidated radio stations, contrary to listener expectations, did not cover Michael Jackson's death until they read it in Friday's newspapers. Of course Google was jammed. In reply to: "Google thought Michael Jackson traffic was attack"

  • I dunno, it's not as though wikipedia didn't get the update before Clearwire and their ilk finally noticed and went to all Michael all the time. In reply to: "News sites swamped following Michael Jackson's death"

  • It seems hypocritical for Mr. Buffett to complain about Steve Jobs' medical status and not provide at least Berkshire Hathaway with his own medical diary.
    Well, perhaps he does.
Even so, I'm inclined to back Jobs. His medical issues obviously are a bit less critical to Apple The new iPhone sold a million? Sure, Apple fell right apart as Steve took the Reality Distortion Field on sick call In reply to: "Week in review: Steve Jobs' secret transplant"

  • I have yet to see news of any malware which affects any Linux (or BSD, including OSX) distribution. I find this feature almost as ridiculous as the CNET spell-checker's insistence that malware is a mis-spelling.
