  Dell's PCs were drab, but I woudn't call them "well built" - especially during the last couple of years. The last Dell system I had was a laptop and that was given to me by my company. It was the worst piece of junk laptop I've ever had - so many strange issues. My company finally dumped Dell completely.
  
  That aside, instead of focusing on innovation, they focused on squeezing as much profit as possible by cutting corners at every turn. When they outsourced their support to India, that was pretty much the last straw for me and a lot of other loyal Dell fans. In reply to: "Why history isn't on Dell's side"
