What about Japan? They have been using Osaifu Keitai or Cell-Phone wallet for at least the passed 5 years. Suica, Pasmo, Icoca, Visa Touch, EDY, IC Card's, even for flights on ANA and JAL can be purchased at a kiosk through your cell phone. Every convenience store and taxi and Japan accepts some form of mobile payments. You neglected to mention the country with the longest and most broad adoption of mobile payments.
