  • You are right in that, there is a lot of talk about parallelization. However, the software environment needed for parallelization is severely limited. We are no where close to having automatic parallelization at the compiler level. It will take at least 7-10 years for parallel programming to become the norm at colleges. Considering these barriers, I think you are over optimistic on the parallelization front.
