I'm about to buy a Pre. Gee, I wish there was someplace besides the Apple store to buy music.

Why doesn't NASA credit the researchers who do the work?
The Mars Rover is being operated from Arizona State University (ASU). You remember, that 'party school' in the desert.
Just Google "ASU maintains heavy hand in research with Mars Rover".
