• The best sound quality comes when you don't use the FM transmitter and hook directly into your existing radio. I use the audio out to the tape deck, and the sound quality is amazing...almost better than CD quality. My suggestion is to go get a converter to hook either to your tape player, audio in jack, or get it hooked up directly to your unit by a radio installation place...well worth the money.
