• 1 hour after my 60 GB PS3's 2.41 upgrade, my CD drive started freezing while playing Blu-Ray and PS3 games. At first, PS2 games and and regular movie CDs weren't affected. The problem got progressively worse over a couple of days time. Now, nothing will play...at all. The PS3 OS is fine, just the CD drive is hosed. I've been checking Sony's blog boards and we are not alone in our misery. There are plenty of other people having problems. My PS3 is now going back to Sony (thankfully under warranty).
  
  By the way, this article is full of ****. The deliberate use of such words and phrases like "nonbroken", "error-free", "unlucky few, "very bug free" shows that the author is so Sony friendly, that he must work for them in some capacity (or at least own stock in Sony). In reply to: "Sony releases nonbroken 2.41 update for PS3"
