• If your ISP throttles BitTorrent, get a new provider
  I also live in Winnipeg, and I have been regularly been able to download popular TV quickly, often in less time than it takes to watch the show. I experience no throttling of any kind ... as long as I don't upload too quickly. From my experience that is my isp's only concern, upload traffic has to stay relatively low and slow, which means seeding takes time.
  Way to go CBC, lead the way to a more integrated global community, where media and file sharing is open to all, without fear. In reply to: "Canadian public TV to try out BitTorrent"
