You bring up a valid point, but that's a bleak outlook, isn't it! I can't speak for all the companies listed above but I posted the openings for one of my clients (OrangeSoda) and I know they are legit. The company has grown from just a handful of employees in 2006 to more than 150 now. Not all news is bad news in the economy.
Also, some jobs are rolling jobs. I know here in Utah computer programmers and engineers are always in high demand so many companies are constantly recruiting them to get the best talent. In reply to: "The spreadsheet of sunshine: Who's hiring (updated)"October 23, 2008
