  • Can we knock it off with the iPhone already. It is just a phone with a few bells and whistles that bring it up to the level of other phones. While there are a lot of people with interest of this product, they are mostly the same people who bought it the last time. I find the people who hang around for days or even hours waiting to buy this new toy are as sad as the people who camp out waiting for Star Wars tickets. Get a life! Wait a week... And can we cut back on some (most) of the iPhone drivel. I don't know if anyone cares if many people are walking out of Apple stores with inactivated phones due to whatever release issue that poor planning did not consider (eg - browser incompatabilities, syncing issues or some csr not having iTunes...) Many of my associates who have the iPhone simply have bricks. Many in the Washington DC area got brick'ed due to these issues. Then I heard a voice message (Podcast 766) from a woman (Julie) who hired a baby sitter and stayed on a different (working) phone till the early hours of the morning to get her iBrick activated. For people like that, I hope somecalls child services. What will probably happen is that she is so self absorbed, she won't notice her child glued to the iTV playing video games and addicted to iMeth.
