Sony and Nintendo are both experienced in the video gaming industry. Microsoft is just a noob.
I say this, buy both the Wii and the PS3, not the Xbox 360.
Xbox 360 is very poor quality compared to the PS3.
Enough said.

Thanks for accepting my apology
Sony Ps2 has alot of good games anyway. Sony products except the ps2 and psp are reliable and the most durable out there. Right now, Sony is facing many great issues and their boom could slowly come to an end. Well, I hope there is peace in this internet community. We shall wait for the next-gen of gaming, and see what really happens.
btw, what is alexcnet2's new account? thx

Im sorry, I'll try to be more neutral next time
WHy do you take things so personally??? youre very similar to alexcnet2 and you also support him? Why support him, he's crazy!!!
I only make comments against strong clueless fanboys lke alexcnet2. Im not sayng that Sony is THE evil or arrogant one.
Personally, i love Sony as to me the best electronics maker. I have many of their products but the only thing i hate about them are its games. But i strongly believe that SCEI, a divison of Sony that's the one beng evil and arrogant. I am sorry that my comments disappoint some crazy fanboys. I especially dislike immature fanboys making offensive arrogant comments that are completely nonsense. I know of course that SCEI is making money and thats what most companies do(i dont know why you brought that up). The disappointing comments I have receved were probably from angry fanboys.
My negative comments have a meaning strongly not about random things. The betrayal by sony was actually big shockng news, not some lil random thing like you're portraying. I really know what I am talking about. I admit that i have acted arrogant here online sort of like SCEI is doing on the gaming.
What kind of gamer am I? I typically view myself as a recreational video gamer.
Yeah, i dont expect others to actually care about my comments and opinions. I'm just expressing my views and opinons to others here on CNET. From now on, i will try to avoid makng more insensitive comments. Thanks anyway, Peace out.

Not really... If I am wrong, then I'm sorry.
Well, You are looking at it the opposite. Nintendo actually created and improved the gaming market, came out way before SCEI playstation. More than a decade ago, Sony became interested in Nintendo and started to develop a CD add on for the SNES. According to sources, Sony came up first to create a partnership with Nintendo after becoming interested in video gaming. This has been created as an answer to Sega's Sega CD.
Sony has basically provoked Nintendo to pull the plug so they could compete individually with their eventual launch of formally Nintendo-owned Play Station. When Nintendo's chairman at that time having found out that the contract was secretly being cheated and suspiciously planned to be completely taken over by Sony, he angrily cancelled the agreement. After this huge shock, Nintendo has formed an alliance with Philips, a competitior to Sony on the development.
After the dissolution of the joint project caused by Sony's guilty and secretive actions, Sony considered stopping their research, but completely the company decided to use what they had developed so far and make it into a stand alone console(Play Station name had the space erased to PlayStation under SCEI). As a result, this arrogant betrayal made by Sony is highly unthinkable and intolerable.

Huge disappointment for Sony fans.
Sony has been dishonest too many times and I'm not pleased with it. Their betrayal to Nintendo for video gaming, arrogance towards customers, and overestimation of itself, etc. This could be the end to the great PlayStation if they continue their harsh ignorance...The more they lie, the less I will trust them. Highly-inspired PS2 and the PSP is too overrated, PS3 should be better. Despite this serious issue on the PS3, I am sure they will eventually succeed on the long run and history proves it. Microsoft will do its best to beat Sony PlayStation 3 with its Xbox 360 but they won't win. Analysts are overpredicting and overexpecting the capabilities and progress of the upcoming PlayStation 3. Those senseless overestimates hugely disappoint me and other fans still waiting. As I can see by far, I give away most of my hopes to the Wii. Please understand this opinion because I believe it is true.

You are the one who's a shameful disgrace, AlexCNET2.
To: AlexCNET2,
Wow! Why the f*** do you even care about name?! You are the one that must be high. I mean just read over your rather ignorant bullshyt comments, they are soooo ridiculous and out of sense. I think youve been playing too much violent fantasy video games. You are sooo out of your mind. Your arrogant criticism towards others are mostly about yourself. Stop bullying and teasing others online about your own issues. Again, stop being a bad jackass!

AlexCNET2, it is really twice as much
Why are you using CND? In US Dollars, it is really twice as much. The PSP costs like $250-300 in the US. While the DS costs $130-150. Your comments are idiocy at its best, you stupid canadian fanboy. The majority of North American imports go to the US, so don't be complaining or comebacking like you're a dumass.

calm down AlexCNET2, dont be sooo mad
Ask yourself... W-T-F is your problem?! Well, I definitely know what's your problem. You are damn annoying and rude. I think you've went too far on that comment, it is way too offensive and ****-ish. You know what I mean. Honestly, I love the Sony PSP as a serious competitor to Nintendo's handheld systems. I love both the PSP and the DS, they are both very good for many reasons. You might have kinda misunderstood my comment about the PSP. Next time, don't be such a pathetic lil ass-hole.

Give out the facts??
What?! This debating thing is never flawed not to be really idiotic. Do you know what 'user opinion' is? You are thinking the sincere opposite, minime3. My opinions are totally factual and based on reality. Do you understand what that means? Not all opinions are perfect and flawless.

Battery life has been improved.
Just to tell you, there is no significant hardware changes. Battery life is longer and improved. Screen btightness can be changed. Also targeted for women which is not a bad thing. i barely see women playing video games.
