  • More than 1 Cpu required
It?s probably accurate to assume that a 1,000 MIPS processor will suffice to guide mobile utility robots reliably, but more than 1 will be required to do the job efficiently. For example, a mobility device requires and avoidance Cpu with appropriate sensors, a mapping Cpu for navigation, a Cpu for motor wheel / track speed forward, reverse, pivot etc. where these processors would interface with a primary Cpu which would process and Artificial Intelligence program to get the job done.
