• This Is Encouraging!
  I've often wondered why more players haven't emerged in the blog ad buying/selling business. There are tons of niche blogs like mine (Cranky Fitness, a quirky health blog that's every bit as silly as the title suggests) that would be thrilled to run ads at a fraction of the cost that middlemen like Adsense charge their advertisers.
  
  Even those "dirt cheap" prices are often far more than we receive. Yet it's a daunting task to go out and find independent sponsors.
  
  Of the choices available to small bloggers, BlogHer Ads is doing a fairly good job on my site, (way better than Adsense did) but I think there's a huge opening that could be a win-win for both bloggers and advertisers.
  
  (Did I just say "win-win?" Ewww. Sorry).
  
  Anyway, great post, and looking forward to hearing more about this issue from both blogger and advertiser perspectives.
