- So true. For me the 3GS and the gNexus are great ergonomic devices. The i5, while better than the 4/4S still leaves a lot to be desired.

- Best of luck. You might though, want to check out the i5 a bit more. Have it and the sound quality (ATT for me) is not up to par. My i4 actually seems better and my gNexus does too. As a speaker phone, the i5 needs some help. I like how they list HD sound even though not a single US carrier supports it.
Anyway, not a bad phone. Does have some serious issues which most can be traced to iOS6.In reply to: "iPhone 5 so far: One road warrior's two-week test"

- Took my i5 and gNexus on a business trip to nothern New Jersey.
I plotted my trip, my stops to and from hotel.
Lets say it was a dismal failure.
First Apple took me to the wrong hotel from the airport. Google was correct.
My first meeting Apple took me to the original location which has been closed for 5 years. Google was correct.
An evening dinner, both plotted the correct restaurant location. Apple failed to show the local parking garage.
Return to the airport on Friday, Apple showed but the route failed to account for highway construction.
Overall ... Glad I took my gNexus phone. In reply to: "Apple quietly improving its iOS maps data"

- One pain, if you have Banner set, if a note pops up in the banner, it is big enough to half hide any controls at the top of your app. Take mail. Open an inbox, want o go back or use any top controls when a banner otification hits and it covers the control. Why? Make it thinner.

- Who do you think is helping provide Apple Maps data and traffic data? It's not all TomTom.

- skis - It works for you, works 75%for me at home, failed on my last trip, and when I double checked, the map has major errors for my next trip (tomorrow).
(1+.75+0+0)/4 *100 = 44% correct.
Yup!! For a map that is a real winner!!!!
So, I guess works for you means it is perfect for everyone.

- If you believe a bookmark has the same functionality as a built in .... Wow.
You won't get spoken directions, but you'll get written directions, public transportation details, live traffic reports and, of course, Google's far superior maps and data. The web page will refresh causing it to reload all the data. It is a nice fall back, but not the same as built in.In reply to: "Rumor Has It: Will iOS 6 get a real Google Maps app soon (please)?"
