Mint robots break it down at CES 2011
Five Mints got funky at the Evolution booth with a choreographed tribute to "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas. The routine was a scaled-down version of a dance involving 12 Mints. The company has spent three weeks putting the routine together.
Debuting at CES last year and now selling for about $200, Mint uses Swiffer-type cleaning cloths to sweep floors. It can dance in sync thanks to its infrared navigation system, which tells each robot its location.
Mint did its choreographed boogie at a Las Vegas fashion show during CES 2011. No word yet on whether it will get a spot on "Dancing With the Stars."
