Carol Bartz is out at Yahoo and the stock is up, which has got to hurt. They're still raking in the cash, but shareholders hate nothing more than a plateau. Plus, Netflix swears that at least this time, its jerk move (restricting users to only one stream at a time) was a total accident, and they're definitely not doing that. Promise. Plus, Groupon's IPO roadshow is off and the IPO itself may be off for good, and the Droid Bionic has finally arrived. Hooray!
Ep. 1547: Calm down: Netflix stream limits are just a bug! (They say.)

I’m switching to the Netflix-streaming-only due to the increased cost. Meanwhile, I saw Netflix is still advertising their Starz Play Service:

Sorry BOL Crew, been a bit behind and spent the weekend catching up on previous episodes.
Last week you mentioned how the 7" form factor was a boat that just doesn't seem to sail. I beg to differ. The 7" form factor has been sailing at a solid clip for more than a year, it's called the Barnes and Noble Nook. The problem, is who is going to pay four to five hundred dollars for any preloaded 7" tablet (Android or otherwise) when you can root a $250 Nook? This is truer now than ever, with $170 refurbished Nooks available!
It makes me laugh a little how shocked an awed the industry seems to be by the SUDDEN interest in the $99 HP tablet. They didn't know it was all about the price point? Marketing research FAIL! So, the price point for a 10" Android tablet is between three and four hundred dollars… If it doesn't do much more than a netbook, it can't cost much more than a netbook. And a 7" tablet is $250, if it can't do much more than my phone, then it can't cost much more than my phone (people tend to forget their phone is "subsidized"). Why is this so complex for folks like HP and Lenovo to figure out?!?
When Han talks about doing the Kessel run in less that 12 parsecs, he is actually referring to doing a smugglers run between different planets, flying through Hyper Space in as short a route as possible. As we all know “”Travelling through Hyperspace ain’t like Dustin crops boy! Without precise calculations we could fly right through a star or bounce too close to a super nova, and that would end your trip real quick wouldn’t it?!?!”" So Han is talking about shaving the travel course close to a sun and cutting distance on the trip, thus making it a quicker trip. Yes a Parsec is distance, but in this case it also relates to time for a trip.
