Viewers and listeners should know that plasma displays give off very small radiation compared to CRT displays, and LCD’s have none.

Some Specualtion on AT&T ……. Hey Buzzards,
I’m not normally the tip giving person, but wanted to give you a piece of info I recently heard from an ATnT VP. In the coming days they will be releasing a cloud based service similar to that of amazon and google’s recent music clouds, with the ability to upload music and then re stream it at anytime to your cell phone. I wish I had more details for you, but it was a relatively short conversation.

Hey Brian,

I was just watching BOL episode 1480 and I heard your comment regarding the transporting the Endeavour to California. You said that the shuttle would probably be carried out on flatbed trailer over the interstate highway, which would probably attract a lot of attention. Clearly you have not followed the shuttle program very closely over the years, or you would know that this is most likely not the actual method of transport. Over the course of the shuttle program there has always been two locations available for the shuttles to land. One location is in Florida at the space center near where the shuttle launches and the other is a site in California for use when the conditions in Florida are not favorable for a safe landing and there is not enough time to delay the landing. In the case of a California landing (which has occurred several times), the shuttle is returned to Florida by putting it on top of a specially equipped Boeing 747 and flown there. In all likelihood, the same proceedure will be followed in transporting the shuttle Endeavour to its retirement home in California. Unless you have a set of high powered binoculars or a telescope, you will not see the shuttle being transported to it’s new location. As a longtime follower of the space program, the innacuracy of your comment jumped out at me and I felt the need to correct you not as a way of making you feel bad, but as a means of providing you with a learning experience. I am always willing to learn something new, and I hope you are too. Keep up the good work.
