Headlines from today's show include Facebook and Bing's new search partnership, when "bill shock" crosses over into "bill kill," and Molly admits she was wrong about the iPad. People are totally buying that thing. They're also buying Macs in droves, apparently. And also: rock 'em sock 'em robot torture. --Molly

On Wednsday’s show You didn’t mention the Sony Blu-Ray player with
Google tv built-in. I’m not usually a fan of combo type devices, but
at $400.00 figure $200.00 for the Blue-Ray then you get a Google TV
set top box for $200.00. Cheaper than the Logitech.
Blue-Ray and Google TV will both be obsolete about the same time anyway!
LOVE THE SHOW!

In regards to the story of Facebook’s new feature to send One Time
Passwords via text message.
This seems like a dream enhancement for suspicious
girlfriends/boyfriends that want to access their partners Facebook
accounts to spy on them.
Another great use could be for ‘funny’ friends to snag your phone and
post inappropriate comments in your status updates.
It could be a great feature, but as Darren alluded to on yesterdays
show, there needs to be more authentication to getting a new password
than just texting “OTP” from your phone.
Love the show,
Hey Buzz Clan-
I was listening to Episode 1328 and wanted to let you knowing that I have the Amazon app on my Droid X and it DOES have the barcode scan and search functionality. All the best.
Hello Rafe, Molly, and Benito.
Im writing in protest of your take on the GAP logo fiasco. It kinda is a big deal. This company that is so well established and has been around for so long has the resources to come up with a truly creative logo, not just typing in the word “GAP” into a word processor using Helvetica font in the DEFAULT black. I mean, come on, really? this is way played out; Knoll, Crate & Barrel, American Apparel, Target, Jeep, Microsoft, Skype, Sears, American Airlines – they have all use Helvetica as the font of choice for their logos. GAP was just being boring and unoriginal. Im a graphic designer by trade so this kind of stuff really irritates me.
- Much Love to the show,
Pedro from Miami
p.s. Im not a GAP fanboy, haven’t bought anything from there is years, im a Graphic Design fanboy.
