Well, you don't really need to totally disregard this episode, but that is what 10-12 means in CB radio talk. And the news is light. Although we do learn that the head of MI6's Speedo is not a state secret. But it SHOULD be!

Kelly the Gaffer on why OS X is so cheap

E-MAIL
Hi Buzz crew this is Marlon – “guyfromtrinidad”, I am a lover of Nokia’s E series and am absolutely delighted with my E71. So I got even more excited when I saw this article concerning Android coming to Nokia’s smartphones, http://www.guardian.co.uk/global/2009/jul/06/nokia-mobile-internet-phones. I mean the idea of a very slick touchscreen E series phone had me super excited, gone would be the dated OS that I tolerate, yes, yes, yes. And then I read this http://gigaom.com/2009/07/05/will-nokia-jettison-symbian-for-android/ and this http://www.reuters.com/article/marketsNews/idUSL613838520090706. A a quick and emphatic no, no, no by Nokia. Though it still leaves the door open for the Nokia/ Intel partnerships to embrace Android. What do you think?
Luv the show

Hey Buzzers,

I’ve got fios at my house here in Camarillo, Ca and one of the selling points for me, my girlfriend not as much, is the Fios. The only other option for internet here is Time Warner and given their track record I will do nearly anything to not give them a penny of my money. So yes, Fios can be a selling point, especially for a buzz listener.

Secondly I’ve got a pre and let me tell you, RocknRollHax is great. I get html formatted emails fairly regularly and some (looking at you newegg) benefit greatly from landscape mode (for readability). There is no need for landscape while composing (obviously) and I really wish they included an option foramdscape on email reading only.

Anywho, I’m also part of the engineer/architect/programmer cabal when it comes to caps lock…but it should be moved.

Keep up the good work,
Ted the Engineer

When I was a 9-1-1 operator 10-12 was "relay to" or "relay complete". Disregard (or take no further action) was 10-22. Guess that's why more and more departments are going to plain text to eliminate confusion.

Hi buzz out load crew. Trinidad & Tobago is an independent island nation in the southern part of the eastern Caribbean Sea. It is considered part of the West Indies; a group of islands including Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Antigua, Anguilla, Dominica, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts, Saint Lucia, Grenada, Saint Vincent, and Trinidad & Tobago. Guyana is also part of the West Indies although not an island.

Myself, I am originally from the St.Vincent & The Grenadines, West Indies.

Love the show.

Hey guys I have a question, popped in my head while walking my mile hike to work... almost like i'm "high" and I ask myself "stupid" questions. Sorta!

Seeing that when you buy iPod Touch (2nd Gen) you purchased it with bluetooth, why should you have to pay additional fee to use tool you already paid for? Makes sense? Although I know plenty of us "geeks" have found out way around this foolish fee! ;-)

BTW love the SHOWS. And i do run photoshop and dreamweaver on my netbook and i love it when traveling for quick edits!

My one final run on for today. I was traveling on a 3 hr bus ride to realize that dude 2 seats away fell asleep while using his macbook with his broadband sharing and i was able to surf the web for free for an hr just in time to pack and exit! Sweet!

The piling cases of robbery in our country are obviously alarming! In the past few years, the robbery cases are already high but with the economic crisis hitting us hard, the rate increase even more. Many were still looking for job vacancy but their effort seems to be useless. Actually, numerous employees were left jobless because of the company closure. With this, people are becoming hopeless. They turn their face into robbery and risk their life in doing so. News today is that another attempted robbery case was recorded in Wichita, Kansas. An employee saw two fellows approaching the store armed, and surmising that they were not spokespeople for the NRA, locked the door and called the police. When the fiends discovered they were not going to succeed in their aims, they fled. The rash of robberies of payday lenders hasn't begun subsiding, as they have become more popular targets than traditional robberies, like liquor stores and banks, but there's at least one store in Kansas they won't be getting for awhile. This time we are in Kansas, Toto. The next in the increasing rash of payday loan store robbery cases, occurred in Wichita, Kansas, but this time it was not successful. An employee saw the two would be crooks approaching the store armed, and surmising that they were not spokespeople for the NRA, locked the door and called the police. When the fiends discovered they were not going to succeed in their aims, they fled. The rash of robberies of payday lenders hasn't begun subsiding, as they have become more popular targets than traditional robberies, like liquor stores and banks, but there's at least one store in Kansas they won't be getting for awhile.
