Yahoo is trying to fight off being accused of low morals by protecting some user data from being subpoenaed in Europe. We also have a couple rants involving Amazon caving to the publishers over text to speech and Sony saying they made the PS3 hard to develop for on purpose. Even without Molly, it's a kind of ranty Monday.

About the Early Show chat
Amazon has a sense of humor. I was showing my wife the Amazon App on
my iPhone last night and I attempted to take a picture of my TV and
see what Amazon Remembers would suggest. Somehow I fudged the photo
but decided to send it anyway. We laughed pretty hard when the
suggestion that came back was “How To Take Good Pictures, Revised
Edition.” Apparently the server has become self aware and is tired of
people sending pictures of their thumbs. I’ve attached it so you can
check out my photography skills.
G'day guys, Josh from Australia here.
Just received an SMS from "VicPolice," with a warning about Monday and Tuesdays weather and the risk of fire, and to check the radio for updates. The interesting part is that this seems to be a mass SMS, part of a system that we had heard was not in place but should have been in place to warn people about fires. The theory was that they could send SMS's to people in a certain location - narrowed down either by billing address or cell tower location.
So after the nastiness of Black Saturday, it looks as if - not surprisingly - this has been kicked up the priority list.
Just thought it'd be worth a mention, and allow me to once again ask for thoughts and prayers for Victorians on Monday and Tuesday as we face what may or may not be another horrific fire day.
