And I suppose that Toyota thinks that the green points the Prius is scoring will easily negate all the gasoline and other consumables it'll take to make the 552 horses and handle the performance that shoves the LF-A to 202 mph. I'd expect this sort of overindulgence from a hedonistic company like Ferrari, but for Toyota it's mixed signals for sure.

They're only making 500 of them and at $400K no one will buy them. So, I don't think this will do too much to hurt Toyota's "Green Image"
