blumefest, lets be less ignorant please, moderate yourself. While your in your house, do/drive/have/play/ whatever you want but once your on the streets, follow the rules, ban txt. people holding traffic, killing others just for txts. f!that.

some states have banned text, but then complain they cannot enforce it, because cell phone use is still legal. "I wasn't texting, I was looking up a phone number."

These nanny laws, just have no end.

Hey, taxpayers pay for health insurance right....and people don't know when to put down the hamburger and shake right. Lets ban overeating too. It's not about their health, its about our taxpayer dollars. We have a right to not pay for your bad health choices.

See, it never ends.

wxliaw, you shouldn't call people an idiot, and I'm going to have the law changed to outlaw that, since you can't figure it out on your own...and bad news, its going to be a felony too.

But after that, I have to say, I'm totally against nanny laws. They don't work, and they set a ridiculous precedent.

@lil-yankee "killing others just for txts"

Its already illegal to kill someone in your car, for texting or any other reason, its called manslaughter, it's a crime big time.

You aren't advocating making that illegal....its already illegal, for a long, long time.

You are advocating creating nanny laws that circumvent very specific behavior....and then tossing in the already illegal part of it, as your justification.

The fact is searching through your purse is equally stupid, where is the law against searching through your purse, while driving a car?

The law against applying makeup while driving?

The law against shaving and driving?

If you drop that coke can on the floor, trying to pick it up, is equally stupid, where is the law against trying to pick up the can of soda that you dropped while still driving?

At some point, if you think about it, you'll get it.... operating your vehicle in a dangerous way, is illegal. It's already illegal, and its all that we need, otherwise, you have a lot of laws you need to start advocating.

I concentrate on the driving when behind wheel. I use flexible mobile application for texting without losing concentration on driving by downloading drivesafe.ly
