T-Mobile Prism review: Playing it simple

With its entry-level specs and simple design, the Prism by T-Mobile is a 3G handset meant for new smartphone users.

Although it doesn't boast the best specs on the market, the T-Mobile Prism is an entry-level 3G Android Gingerbread device that likes to play it simple.

Meant for first-time smartphone buyers, the Prism is equipped with a 3.2-megapixel camera, a 3.5-inch touch-screen display, and a 600MHz Qualcomm CPU.

It's also chock-full of useful T-Mobile-centric apps, like T-Mobile TV and T-Mobile Mall, but it's easy to see how some might consider those borderline bloatware.

When I tested the data network in San Francisco, it clocked in with some pretty impressive times. And for all you travelers out there, the Prism is a world phone, operating on four GSM bands.
