Today' s show is very unusual, since we don't actually talk about any stories, but we're all too lucid to give a damn. Paul Ramsay, professional hypnotist, joins us in the studio to put us under his trance while he explains how the process works, the benefits of hypnotherapy, and the overall power of the mind. If nothing else, you have to hear him put Wilson into the most docile state we've ever seen, to the point where he start to drool and we're forced to tape a cup to his chin. Later on, in the second half of the show, he makes me forget my own name...it's OK; I remember it now--Gunther, right? Cool, just making sure.

You know hypnotism is legitimate when even Jeff Bakalar is actually convinced by the end of the show. Our guest today is Paul Ramsay, a hypnotist that specializes in both entertainment hypnosis as well as hypnotherapy, helping those with anxiety, depression, stress, etc. Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis isn't about complete control over another person. Paul isn't a magician or a shaman, he can't help us see things that aren't there or force us to take off our pants...although he does try, and we ain't mad at him for it. What he can do is merely suggest things to your subconscious, and if you're willing to do it and are open to the possibility, you can make great things happen. We don't have time for a full therapy session, but we give Paul full reign over Wilson. He put Wilson into such a deep trance that the guy can barely speak! Quoth Wilson: "I feel like it's Christmas in the wombbbbb....." Paul also instructs us on how to engage in self-hypnosis for relaxation and stress relief, and at the end of the show we invite him to help us put ourselves in a good mood. You can do it at home too: just use headphones and let the healing begin! Big thanks to Paul Ramsay. Please be sure to check out his Web store, and check out future shows of The 404 for his second appearance. Next time, he said, he'll show us how to make it easier to talk to the opposite gender. Wilson, listen up!

I was curious if Paul Ramsey asked Justin, "What's your first name, Justin?" Would he answer it? I was hoping he was going to say, "I am McLovin." Ha! Cool show.
