It is frequently noted that counter space in the kitchen is valuable real estate; when faced with a growing collection of appliances, it isn't difficult to see why. As such, specialty gadgets and appliances vie for our culinary attention, all while attempting to maintain a small footprint. However, the great frontier of the kitchen is not to be found on a horizontal surface, instead, look to the walls.

The La Cornue Flamberge Rotisserie, as the "only open-wall rotisserie approved for built-in use" has a leg up on the competition, literally. Measuring 32 inches by 32 inches, with a depth of only 15 inches, the UL- approved rotisserie oven can be built into a kitchen wall or even mounted in existing cabinetry. A 120-volt electric power supply is necessary to turn the three adjustable spits, and access to a gas line is required for the 27,000 BTU gas burner, but with no special ventilation required for installation, cut-outs can be kept to a minimum.

Available in 27 standard colors with the ability to be accented in a choice of nine trim options, the built-in rotisserie oven is designed to blend in with any decor. Considering the rarity of built-in appliances such as ovens, the occasional microwave and the elusive built-in refrigerator, a built-in rotisserie is sure to make a splash. And just think of all that counter space leftover.
