Squeeze your citrus in style
A striking citrus juicer from two Danish designers is surprisingly useful.
Cooking is as much about presentation as it is about taste, at least in my home. And presentation is absolutely affected by the quality of your kitchen tools.
For years, my husband and I kept this citrus juicer on the kitchen counter because it looked good. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to use, requiring a lot of brute strength, and the juice tended to go all over the place because it was difficult to position a cup or bowl directly underneath.
The Rosendahl lemon juicer, created by Danish designers Claus Jensen and Henrik Holbaek seems to be a better solution. It's uncomplicated, easy to use, and it looks good, with or without the lemon attached. Screw the steel twist into the lemon, squeeze, and let the juice trickle out the end. And if you'd like to save the rest of your luscious lemon juice for later, simply stick the whole thing in the fridge until you're ready.
Garnish your dishes with fresh lemon juice at the table. Oooohs and aaaahs not mandatory, but certainly welcome.
