We suggest taking a look at Carolina Road's Jarte, a free, tabbed-based, Word-compatible word processor built upon WordPad. It's fast and reliable, like WordPad, but it adds some features, such as single-click bookmarking, mouse scroll wheel cut-and-paste capability, and dictionary and thesaurus reference tools. WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg said his company saw a major uptick in Tumblr defections after news of the $1.1 billion acquisition by Yahoo came to light.

Writing on his personal blog Sunday evening, Mullenweg said that WordPress usually imports 400 to 600 blog posts per hour from Tumblr. After news of the deal surfaced, the number of imported posts jumped to more than 72,000 blog posts in an hour.

Cursing, swearing, profanity, bad words, expletives, four-letter words... Google Glass reportedly doesn't want any part of it.

Apparently, if users say any of this foul language while wearing the Google's augmented reality headset, the device simply won't recognize those words, according to Geekwire. And, there's reportedly no way to turn this filter off at this time.

This isn't Google's first foray into censoring swear words. In fact, according to Geekwire, the no-profanity policy reaches throughout most all of Google's products and software that use the voice-to-text translation engine.
