Games that make you want to throw your iPad (don't do it!)

I play a lot of video games. I have a Windows gaming rig and an Xbox 360, and my iOS devices are filled with games from every genre. I would consider myself a fairly skilled gamer, but there are certain types of games designed to challenge even the most seasoned fans.

Back in January, I wrote a similar post called "Games that make you rage on iOS." One of the games I'm focusing on today is the sequel to a game I wrote about then, but it definitely hasn't lost its rage-inducing qualities.

It's important to note that for this collection I recommend grabbing the iPad versions of the games in question (if you own an iPad) because when you play a hard game, you want any advantage you can get and the iPad's larger screen gives you a little more room to work with. Birdman crashes into mountain, puts it on YouTube

I suppose that once you've decided to call yourself Bird Man, you tend to suffer from an excess of self-belief.

So if you decide to don your technologically superior wing suit and shoot yourself off South Africa's Table Mountain, nothing can possibly go wrong, can it?

Wingsuit batman flies through Chinese mountain

I can't imagine that there are too many people around who have flown through a mountain, but U.S. BASE jumper Jeb Corliss can add that to his resume after recently soaring through a peak in China.

Wearing a wingsuit, a parachute, and GoPro Hero cameras strapped to his body, Corliss managed to fly through a hole in Tianmen mountain, Hunan Province.

The famous Tianmen Hole in the limestone peak is about 360 feet tall, 96 feet wide, and 260 feet deep.

Corliss dropped out of a helicopter at 6,000 feet and glided toward the cave like a flying squirrel. A GPS display in his helmet goggles kept him on a precise course for his flight, which was about two-thirds of a mile.

If you're gutsy enough to skydive or BASE jump, you might as well go the whole nine and do it looking like a superhero.

Phoenix-Fly is out with a new wingsuit, the red Vampire 2, that has a distinctly William Katt in Greatest American Hero look while promising to maximize your glide and delay your freefalls.
