Twitter on the Pre

There are a pair of twitter applications in the App Catalog already for the Palm Pre. Tweed is the more popular of the two with 81,431 download and a four star rating at the time of writing. Spaz is the other with 25,314 downloads and a three star rating. In an effort to compare the two and also to investigate the overall ability of the Pre to integrate with Twitter, I took both for a test drive.

With my life all bundled up in one smartphone I'm finally gettin' in the groove. I love the Palm Pre more every day!

It would make thousands of applications availble to Pre owners, but two things are keeping me from purchasing right now: the $30 price tag and the plethora of poor reviews. … Read more

Becoming Attached

The Palm Pre is quickly becoming my lifeline. From posting to Twitter to checking my email, I'm doing more and more on the Pre. When I'm sitting outside enjoying the cool morning breeze I'm tackling my email inbox without having to drag out the laptop. While my kid is playing with the neighbor kids I'm conducting business just two feet away.

With all this technology at my fingertips, literally, I'm becoming more and more addicted to being connected. I can't decide if this is good or bad...

After unboxing the Pre I immediately installed … Read more
