Apple's WWDC 2013 scholarship will reward 150 winners with one free ticket apiece to join the conference, which runs from June 10 to June 14 in San Francisco. Twitter hit with $50M suit over anti-Semitic tweeter data

The Union of Jewish French Students, UEJF, has doubled down in its battle with Twitter and said it filed a $50 million lawsuit against the social network yesterday.

The cause of the suit? User data for anti-Semitic tweets.

The fracas goes back to October when Twitter was awash in anti-Semitic French-language tweets tied to the hashtag "#unbonjuif" ("a good Jew"). This prompted the student union and other anti-racism groups to ask Twitter to remove both the tweets and the hashtag. HP places new sanctions on student labor in China -- report

Hewlett-Packard has placed new rules on its China-based suppliers over how they handle student labor, according to a new report.

The company's new rules, which were reportedly given to suppliers this morning, require that all student workers join the supply line on their own accord, The New York Times is reporting. The rules, which the Times obtained and published last night, also require that students have the ability to "leave work at any time upon reasonable notice without repercussions."

As back to school kicks off in the U.S., new data claims that Apple's iPad is outpacing traditional PCs in sales to students and schools for the first time ever.
