Slim from Samsung

AT&T's Samsung SGH-A437 doesn't put on airs. And that's fine, because there's really not much to say about it. The design is thin and unassuming, though we didn't love the flat controls. You'll find a decent selection of features, including a VGA camera with satisfactory picture quality, Bluetooth, messaging, and quad-band world roaming. Call quality was unimpressive, however. We encountered too much static on our end of the line. Read our review for the full scoop or check out our slide show.

AT&T's new non-iPhone cell phone

If you're thoroughly sick of the iPhone, I have good news, as AT&T has a new cell phone just for you. The carrier that landed Apple's superhyped handset is now carrying the Samsung SGH-A437. Offering a simple, thin design that somewhat resembles the Verizon's Samsung SCH-540, the SGH-A437 offers a decent feature set including Bluetooth, a VGA camera, and a speakerphone. You can get it in red, slate, and gold. It's just $69 with service.
