Don't think that T-Mobile or Verizon Wireless are taking a rest after the end of the CTIA show last week. A quick look at their Web sites today shows that both carriers have added new phones to their lineups. Though it's not a surprise T-Mobile stepped in to formerly offer the Motorola Krzr K1. The GSM version of the Krzr landed at Cingular/AT&T last month, while Sprint and Verizon introduced the CDMA Krzr K1m last year. After weeks of rumors of a new Samsung phone for Verizon Wireless, the Samsung SCH-U540 is now officially on deck. According to Verizon's Testman Web site, long a reliable source of what's coming soon for the carrier, the SCH-U540 should land in stores very soon. The design is far from exciting--basically your dull silver flip phone--but the inside promises more offerings than we thought originally.
