Two British men pleaded guilty today to conspiracy charges related to a spree of attacks on U.S. and U.K. government and corporate Web sites by the LulzSec hacking group last year.

Ryan Cleary, 20, and Jake Davis, a 19-year-old who used the hacker handle "Topiary," admitted to launching distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks on Web sites including Sony, Nintendo, News International, Arizona State Police, HBGary Federal and PBS, according to The Telegraph.

An Ohio male may be linked to the recent cyberattacks that hit government and corporate sites in the U.S. and U.K and led to the arrest of U.K. teen Ryan Cleary, according to Ohio news sources.

Stories from Cincinnati's WKRC and the Hamilton Journal-News in Ohio reported that the FBI conducted a search on Monday of a home on Jackson Road in Saint Clair Township.

Ryan Cleary, the alleged hacker who was arrested last week and subsequently charged in the U.K. with five counts of hacking, has been released from jail.

Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith granted Cleary bail today but imposed some limitations on the 19-year-old. According to the U.K.'s Mirror, Cleary has a 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time curfew. The BBC also reported today that Cleary was granted bail but that after prosecutors objected, he remains in custody.

London's Metropolitan Police announced today that it has charged Ryan Cleary with five counts of violating British law in regard to cyberattacks.

Cleary, 19, of Essex was arrested yesterday in connection with a series of distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks allegedly carried out by the Internet hacking ring LulzSec.
