Voxer Walkie-Talkie lets you talk, text, and send photos with ease

Voxer Walkie-Talkie is a communications app that lets you use push-to-talk walkie-talkie features, send text messages and images, and share your location. But it's important to note that the default is to share your location, and not everyone will be comfortable sending that information.

What makes Voxer useful (for those who don't have unlimited voice plans) is that it doesn't use up minutes from your carrier; it only uses your data allowance. And even with a lot of voice messages, photos, and texts, it uses only a small amount of your data pool. Sprint, which was known … Read more

Review: QR Photo to Video Converter creates clean videos from your photos

QR Photo to Video Converter is an effective tool for transferring images into videos with slideshow settings--including various transition effects, soundtracks, and pan/zoom options. The result is a useful tool that takes some time to set up and start using due to a poorly-labeled interface, but ultimately creates decent videos for use online or on your mobile device.

The installation process is a little longer than we normally like, and the interface is not particularly intuitive, with numerous menus and tabs that make it unnecessarily complicated to perform some of the easier functions that the software supports; but once … Read more

For those with thousands of photos on their iOS devices, Apple's iOS 7 photo organization efforts are probably welcomed. In the end, though, it likely won't be that much help for finding a specific picture or simply enjoying your collection. That's where a service like Everpix comes in handy.

The cloud-based service basically collects and combines all of your photos into a single place from any source you allow it access to: Mac and Windows computers, iOS devices (Android is in development), and social networks. Once pictures are uploaded, Everpix analyzes your shots by date and content (… Read more
