AOL rolls out 15 original Web series of its own

It seems like the new trend these days is to create an original Web series. We have Yahoo, Netflix, and Hulu doing it, and now AOL is also giving more of a push to its online programming with 15 new shows.

The company announced Tuesday that it has enlisted A-list celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jonathan Adler to either host or star in original Web series. Nvidia CEO unveils next two gens of Tegra, dubbed Logan, Parker

Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang today talked up the chipmaker's next two generations of mobile chip, saying the Tegra chip line will show a 100-times improvement in strength from the first chip to the fifth.

The current Tegra chip, Tegra 4, hit the market earlier this year. The next generation, coming later this year, is code-named Logan, while the fifth generation of Tegra is code-named Parker, Huang said at the company's GPU developers' conference.

Those of you who think Google Glass eyewear looks a bit geeky may be in store for a more fashionable approach.

Google is chatting with eyeglass maker Warby Parker to bring a touch of style to Glass, The New York Times said today, citing its sources as "two people briefed on the negotiations."

Sean Parker's Airtime weathers early turbulence

It may not come as a big surprise, but Sean Parker's Airtime isn't doing so well.

The amply funded video chat startup has faced a series of setbacks since its debut in June, including executive departures and weak uptake among users. So far, the site only has about 10,000 monthly active users. And the launch event itself, held in NYC, was a star-studded event hampered by glitches.

Eyewear startup Warby Parker bags another $37 million

Warby Parker, the eyeglass maker that lets consumers try out glasses at home before they make a purchase, has already raised nearly $37 million in new venture capital funding that could reach $40 million, according to a regulatory filing.

A spokesman for Warby Parker said the company does not comment on funding.

The company is considered a rising star among private companies and this large amount of money adds to its star power.

The filing was spotted by Fortune today.
