As Netflix snags old "New Girl," the fate of new "New Girl" is less certain.

The Internet's top video-streaming site signed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television to bring old seasons of Fox's hit comedy "New Girl" to the site exclusively for on-demand streaming. It starts with the first season Monday, and subsequent seasons of the show will be available on Netflix after the broadcast seasons.

Netflix streaming is heading to the Netherlands.

The company said Wednesday that the service will be available in "late 2013," adding that its streaming service will offer "Hollywood, local and global TV series and films, including critically-acclaimed Netflix Original Series such as 'House of Cards' and 'Arrested Development' whenever and wherever they like on tablets, phones, TVs, game consoles and computers."

Cheap sitter? Netflix lines up 300 hours of DreamWorks TV

If you need a cheap sitter for almost two weeks straight, next year Netflix will oblige.

After losing popular Nickelodeon content earlier this year, the Internet's top streaming service is set to bring 300 hours of original kids' television programming based on blockbuster DreamWorks Animation franchises to its streaming subscribers next year.

Netflix has started the campaign to drum up anticipation for its next original program to follow the much-hyped "Arrested Development."

A trailer for "Orange Is the New Black," a dramedy created by Jenji Kohan, of Showtime's "Weeds" fame, went up on Netflix's YouTube page earlier today. It will be released, all episodes at once, on July 11.

Netflix streaming customers experiencing service outage

The Netflix streaming service is experiencing an outage that is preventing millions of subscribers in several countries from viewing movies and TV shows.

The outage, which began at 6:45 p.m. PT, affects subscribers in both North America and South America.

"We're aware that some members are having trouble streaming TV shows and movies and are working to address the problem," Netflix spokesman Joris Evers told CNET.

Netflix revealed the outage in a tweet response to user complaints of being unable to access the system.
