Archos is making efforts to keep its tablet game strong with the release of its Elements series of tablets. Archos 10-inch 101 Titanium tablet to sell for $199

Archos' Titanium line in its Elements series of tablets got a bit bigger with the introduction of a 10-inch model, the 101 Titanium. The tablets shares many common specs with the other Titanium tablets and will be available in March for $199.99.

Like the 7-, 8-, and 9-inch Titanium tablets, the 101 Titanium runs Android 4.1 and houses a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and quad-core graphics processor with 1GB of RAM. The Titanium series tablets also come with 8GB of internal storage, a microSD expansion slot, and micro USB and mini HDMI ports.

Archos 80 Titanium tablet has same resolution as iPad Mini for $169

Archos announced an 8-inch member to its Elements family of tablets. The Archos 80 Titanium runs Android 4.1 and will be available in March for $169.

The tablet houses a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, a quad-core graphics processor, and 1GB of RAM. It sports a stylish aluminum back casing and a 1,024x768-pixel resolution IPS screen.

The 80 Titanium also comes with 8GB of internal storage with a microSD expansion slot, a 0.3-megapixel front camera, and 2-megapixel rear camera. It also has Micro-USB and Mini-HDMI ports.

Archos goes Platinum with new range of high resolution and high-performance tablets

Archos is fortifying its Elements series with the expansion of the Platinum range of tablets. The Platinum line, currently consisting of a trio of 8-inch, 9.7-inch, and 11.6-inch tablets, stands out due to high resolution IPS screens and specs that promise fast performance.

The three tablets share various features including IPS displays, a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, an 8-core GPU, Android 4.1 OS, 2GB RAM, and front and back cameras. Pantech Burst, Element for AT&T get Android 4.0 update

Pantech's Burst and Element will be getting the Ice Cream Sandwich treatment starting today.

Both phones can be upgraded to Android 4.0, AT&T said in a blog post published today. The update brings the phones to the second latest version of Android, behind Jelly Bean, or Android 4.1.

The two Pantech phones are mass market smartphones and part of AT&T's strategy to widen its smartphone base with more attractive pricing.

Archos unveils Elements tablet series with 97 Carbon

Archos today announced new Android tablets for its new Elements series.

First in line for a July release is the Archos 97 Carbon. Though it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and sports a 9.7-inch IPS display, the tablet's feature set is decidedly middle of the road.
