Nokia announces E55, E75

Nokia rolled out two new E-series phones at its press conference on the first day of the GSMA World Congress here in Barcelona. Nokia E75 looks (very) legit in leaked pics

Back in September 2008, we wrote about a pair of E series devices that were leaked in a promotional video. Although the E72 has already been announced as the E73, which is targeted at the mass market audience, the E75 remains elusive. But you know the drill. When seemingly legit pictures start appearing on the Web, you know the official announcement is just around the corner. This time, the leaked images were posted on a Vietnamese Web site.

Nokia E75 set to debut at GSMA 2009?

Nokia has yet to announce its Nokia E75 smartphone, but there's mounting evidence that the device will soon become an official member of the family, perhaps at GSMA Mobile World Congress in February.

CNET Asia first reported on some leaked video (which has now been taken down) of the Symbian handset, as well as the Nokia E72, back in September 2008, but on Friday, the buzz kicked up again after the Swedish site Daily Mobile posted some pretty legitimate-looking photos of the E75.
