Amazon continues to reign as the most popular online store for customer satisfaction, according to a report out today from ForeSee.

Measuring the top online retailers for the holiday shopping season, ForeSee awarded Amazon a score of 88 out of 100, matching the company's top grade from last year. Amazon has scooped up the highest scores in the index for eight straight years, in large part because of the appeal and variety of its products, ForeSee said.

Dislike Facebook? The social network wants to hear about it

If you want to give Facebook a piece of your mind, here's your chance.

Faced with all the usual concerns over Facebook's constant changes and privacy issues, the social network has rolled out a new customer satisfaction survey.

Spotted by AllFacebook, the survey is linked to a message at the top of the newsfeed for some users. The message reads, "We'd like to hear from you. Please take three to four minutes to tell us about your experience using Facebook."

Facebook's reputation for customer satisfaction continues to tarnish while Google+ pops up on a customer satisfaction index for the first time and makes it to the top of the social network pyramid.

The takeaway from the latest American Customer Satisfaction Index boils down to this: smartphone customers dig their iPhones, despise their BlackBerrys, and are "meh" about the others in between.

The ACSI results, which measured satisfaction on a 0-to-100 scale, gave Apple an 83, marking the first time any maker of cell phones finished with that high a ranking. Apple scores big bump in customer satisfaction

Apple took home a 5-point jump in customer satisfaction, according to the E-Retail Satisfaction Index published today by customer analytics site ForeSee.

The iPhone maker's retail Web site scored 85 out of 100 in this year's index, compared with 80 last year. Only one other retailer, RueLaLa.com, managed a 5-point gain though that site grabbed an overall grade of only 75.

Apple tops in customer satisfaction for 8th year

For the eighth year in a row, Apple's Macs have satisfied more customers than any other vendor's PCs.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), which analyzes consumer feelings toward consumer electronics and appliances, among many other products, said today that Apple's Macs received a score of 87 on the index's 100-point scale measuring customer satisfaction regarding computers. Apple, Samsung top J.D. Power satisfaction survey

Phones from Apple and Samsung topped a J.D. Power satisfaction survey, which cited size, screen quality, battery life, and processing speeds as crucial. The survey also said satisfaction was high for 4G-capable phones.

Apple ranked highest in customer satisfaction among smartphone manufacturers while Samsung was No.1 among traditional mobile phone manufacturers, according to the results of two J.D. Power studies released Thursday.

Survey: T-Mobile tops in customer satisfaction

Users of T-Mobile are the most satisfied customers among the top four wireless carriers in the U.S., according to new data out today from J.D. Power and Associates.

Grabbing a score of 758 out of 1,000 for customer satisfaction, T-Mobile managed to outshine Verizon Wireless, which scored 743. That left Sprint-Nextel in third place with 731 and AT&T in last with 729. T-Mobile took top honors from J.D. Power for the second time in a row, with its live customer support reps earning praise. Study finds Apple tops in call center tech support

Apple outscored both Dell and Hewlett-Packard in overall satisfaction with tech support by phone, though its problem-resolution rates took a bit of a hit in a study released today by consumer feedback firm Vocal Laboratories.

Based on interviews with customers from July 2009 to December 2010, Apple's lead in phone support over Dell and HP dipped a bit in the second half of last year compared with the first half, according to the study from Vocal Laboratories (Vocalabs).
