If you're looking for a TV with a big screen and most of the bells and whistles, then you might be interested in Vizio's E-Series 70-inch Razor Smart TV, which is on sale for Cyber Monday at $1,699. Its usual price is $1,999; it is the larger version of the 60-inch E601i-A3, which itself got a solid 3.5 stars from David Katzmaier. Vizio says the 70-inch version is quite different with an even better picture, so we were unable to review the TV as part of a series as we usually do.

Sharp's large-screen 3D Quattrons are its brightest ever

LAS VEGAS--Sharp continues its 2012 Quattron onslaught with four new models, in 60-inch and 70-inch versions, featuring its brightest Quattron panels with 3D and an ultraslim aluminum design.

The 847/745 series features edge-lit LED screens with 3D X-Gen panels housed in Sharp's "ultraslim and narrow-bezel design," with a new brushed aluminum finish.

Sharp LC-70LE732U review: 70-inch LCD scores big

Unless you have $22,000 or more to spend, the 70-inch Sharp LC-70LE732U is the biggest flat-panel TV you can buy today--the competition maxes out at 65 inches. Moreover, it's a pretty good deal by giant-TV standards, available for less than $3,000 at press time. Sure, rear-projection models offer more screen size for the buck, but judging from past testing, they can't match the picture quality or design of this Sharp. The fact that it's one of the most popular TVs on CNET this summer proves that huge TVs are gaining mainstream appeal.

Sharp now shipping 70-inch LCD for $3,800

At CES, both Sharp and LG announced LCD TVs that hit the 70-inch milestone, and today Sharp has finalized pricing and availability on its beast. The former is $3,799 (list) and the latter is "now."

The 70-inch LC-70LE732U is being billed by Sharp as "the largest LCD television on the market," and until LG ships its 72-inch 72LZ9700, it is--at least as far as we and NPD know.
