Epson's 5020 projector is a movie star

Editor's note: Epson has two versions of this projector on the market: the 5020UB and the 5020UBe. The differences between the two are the inclusion of a WirelessHD module on the 5020UBe and a $300 premium.

For quite some time, the battle for CNET's "Best HDTV Overall" has essentially been between Pioneer's and Panasonic's plasmas. Plasma technology may be losing market share every year, but it's still the clear winner when it comes to image quality, thanks to deep, rich blacks that LCDs still can't match.
