Import all your media files and organize them with award-winning XBMC for Mac

A nice and well-organized media center can be the right solution for your messy files. An easy-to-comprehend program with a large support of media formats and a clean and well-organized interface, XBMC for Mac helps you organize in libraries all your imported video, audio, and image files with ease.

Available as freeware, the installation of the program is easy and quick. However, XBMC for Mac doesn't seem to be very stable -- at least on our iMac -- as it crashed a couple of times when we tried closing it. However, once it's installed you'll notice a … Read more

Fire and water: Waterfox is a 64-bit version of Firefox

Waterfox is a 64-bit version of Firefox. The browser's developers modified the Firefox source code specifically for machines running 64-bit versions of Windows. Software designed for 64-bit Windows editions can take advantage of faster RAM and processing speeds and greater stability in 64-bit systems. FotoMorph is one of the rare programs that manage to deliver impressive results with very little know-how. This fun application lets users create animations that morph one photo into another, no experience required.

The program's interface is attractive and intuitive. It does contain some advertising, but it's fairly unobtrusive. We appreciated the fact that the program comes with a sample project, allowing users … Read more

Addicted to mah-jongg

Beware, after playing just one game of Moraff's "MahJongg 2009," you'll find yourself eager to come back and play more. We just wish the trial period lasted longer.

The user interface is colorful, easy to navigate, and offers users a few extra features. Prominent menu buttons reside at the top of the window, and allow you to choose from different game designs, and apply game settings, such as the number of matches, and tile-set displays. There also are buttons to undo and redo moves. In terms of extras, you'll find a radio that plays soothing … Read more
