For the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show, Ferrari showed off two variations on previous models. The 430 Scuderia is based on the F430, but significantly lightened and given a new transmission to give it track performance on par with Ferrari's Enzo model. Where the 430 Scuderia emphasizes performance, the 612 Sessanta emphasizes luxury. The latter is a collector's edition, based on the 612 Scaglietti, marking Ferrari's 60th anniversary.

Both the Chrysler Aspen and the Dodge Durango will come with available hybrid drivetrains for the 2008 model year at an as-yet-undisclosed price.
